The Heat Exchanger Mentoring Programme (HEMP) is the first ever and leading mentoring programme in the Heat Network industry. In the last five years the programme has made over 200 successful matches and engaged with more than 300 individuals. In November 2024, HEMP will launch season five of the programme and we are excited to attract even more participants this year. The programme is open to anyone working in the heat networks sector, aiming to connect mentors and mentees to support their professional development. It serves as a platform for fostering growth and advancement throughout the UK heat network sector, benefiting both mentors and mentees.

The working group will then undertake matching in December 2024. Season five of the programme will run between January to July 2025. Any mentor/mentee pairings are free to end the mentoring relationship at any time if circumstances change or there is mutual agreement that it is no longer beneficial.
