The ADE's response to Ofgem's ED3 Framework Consultation
Last week the ADE submitted its response to the recent ED3 framework consultation published by Ofgem.
The ADE urges Ofgem to consider the wider system benefits of consumer-led flexibility, particularly its role in supporting network resilience and consumer benefits.
We consider the significant change in direction suggested in the consultation for flexibility on the distribution networks in the ED3 price control period to be unconducive to encouraging DSO market growth and in turn, reaching ambitions around Clean Power by 2030.
