The ADE is hosting a parliamentary drop-in session next week
This session will allow the ADE's wider team to speak directly with a range of new and pre-existing political stakeholders to discuss how decentralised energy technologies provide the best opportunity to safeguard the UK’s energy security and deliver the country's net zero aspirations. The ADE are committed to ensuring that the important provisions set out in the Energy Security Bill endure and will work with the MPs and Lords that attend the session to show how the sector and parliament can best collaborate to achieve meaningful change going forward.As a trade association representing the decentralised energy sector, our policy experts will talk through our four policy areas: Energy efficiency Flexibility Heat networks Industrial energyThese areas are a crucial part of the UK’s future energy infrastructure, offering a proven, low carbon route to decarbonising towns and cities, reducing energy bills and boosting the UK’s energy security. We will send out an update following the session to keep all of our members in the loop with progress.
