The ADE announces its new President: Lord Duncan of Springbank.
Former UK Government Minister and MEP, Lord Duncan was recently Minister for Climate Change, and led the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in developing a response to the global climate challenge and domestic Net Zero Carbon commitment. During his time in this role Lord Duncan also oversaw work addressing clean heat, the roll out of smart meters and international climate change policy; while in Brussels as an MEP, one of the areas he campaigned on was the Emissions Trading Scheme.Ian Calvert, CEO at the Association for Decentralised Energy said,‘We are thrilled to have Lord Duncan on board.
