About the RoleBase Location: Reading, Glasgow, PerthSalary: £44,100 - £66,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available Responsibility for SSEN Distribution's engagement with local authorities across its two licence areas in the North of Scotland and central southern England. Identifying, prioritising and influencing local authority stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for customers, stakeholders and the business. Liaising with colleagues across SSEN Distribution to coordinate all activity with local authority stakeholders. Working with the Senior Manager, Stakeholder Relations to embed customer and stakeholder engagement throughout the organisation to support the delivery of operational and strategic objectives.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: In-depth understanding of the energy sector and associated infrastructure. Excellent knowledge of decision-making processes in local authorities in England and/or Scotland. Experience of managing stakeholder relationships and positively influencing stakeholders. An ability to engage confidently with external stakeholders.
