Our Business Plans are co-created with our customers and stakeholders and this engagement is intrinsic within our business and has changed how we plan our network and serve our customers.As Stakeholder Relations Manager, you will be part of a team leading SSEN Distribution’s external engagement with stakeholders providing an essential link between them and the business so that we can deliver the network and just transition to net zero that all stakeholders and customers, current and future, expect and deserve.Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, London or ReadingSalary: £44,100 - £66,100 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available Responsible for SSEN Distribution’s DSO and innovation external engagement. Support the Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement to embed customer and stakeholder engagement throughout the organisation to support the delivery of operational and strategic objectives. Identify, prioritise and influence stakeholders to support corporate objectives and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for customers, stakeholders and the business. Work with colleagues to develop and implement a strategy to demonstrate what SSEN Distribution is doing to ensure that nobody is left behind in a smart energy future. Provide strong leadership and strategic direction and help others maintain and improve standards of engagement.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: A demonstrable passion for the delivery of a just transition to net zero through innovation in the energy sector. An in-depth understanding of the energy sector and associated infrastructure. An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders. Experience of managing stakeholder relationships and positively influencing stakeholders.
