You will be responsible for leading the development of new district energy solutions to address customer’s requirements within SSE Heat Network’s key target markets which include new build and retrofit projects for private and public sector clients. We have an exciting portfolio of projects which will only grow as we help our clients achieve their urgent net zero goals.As part of the bid team, consult customers on their strategic drivers. Develop innovative technical solutions which are commercially attractive to these clients. Take projects from prospecting through to conceptual design and hand over to design teams to take ownership through to delivery.Key accountabilities will also include: Develop New Opportunities through from bid to completion, ensuring processes including Stakeholder Mapping and implementing Management information tools such as Salesforce. Working on innovative new solutions to prove commercial viability and take to market this year Manage existing pipeline, circa £1.6m EBIT, and exceeding sales targets. Develop new opportunities to ensure our offer remains competitive and relevant to a changing market Support business development function to convert pipeline to order bookWhat do I need?
