We’re a collaborative team, and your work will help us to drive inbound leads, increase sales and build our brand. This is an exciting and varied role for someone with 2+ years experience and a passion for low carbon technology.About the roleThis is a varied role with responsibilities from right across the spectrum of B2B marketing activities. You’ll work on a variety of tasks, from content marketing to online (and eventually in person) events, from PR to the creation of sales materials. As well as staying on track with day-to-day tasks, you’ll measure the success of our activities and contribute your ideas to help the team continuously improve.Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of the content marketing strategy, including writing copy for blog posts, case studies, newsletters and LinkedIn posts, as well as creating supporting visuals including photos, infographics and quick animations Assist with the creation of sales materials, including presentations, brochures, guides, diagrams and website content Help with organising online events (and eventually in person events too!) Support the delivery of the PR plan, including drafting press releases and maintaining media lists Champion the consistent application of the Guru Systems brand, including maintaining the templates used across the company and creating new materials where required Monitor a variety of marketing performance indicators to help optimise return on investment Stay up to date with marketing best practice and the energy industry, contributing ideas to the marketing strategyRequired skills 2+ years experience in a marketing or communications related role Excellent communication skills with an ability to draft a variety of written content and distil technical information in a way that is easily understood Demonstrable ability to plan, multitask and prioritise in order to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Creativity and commercial awareness A team player with a client-oriented approach Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite or similar e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Experience of analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g. marketing, communications, environment, or equivalent work experienceDesirable skills Experience working in a B2B environment Video editing experience Experience creating quick animations Experience using CRM platforms e.g. HubspotBenefitsReporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a full time permanent role with 25 days’ holiday (excluding bank holidays) each year.
