Fenland GreenhouseClarke EnergyOne of the worlds most advanced greenhouses, funded by Greencoat Renewables and designed / constructed by AGR and Clarke Energy. The £86m project employs 7.2MW LED lighting, 33MWth open-loop heat-pumps, and a 9MW quad-generation plant with 100% CO2 recovery. The state-of-the-art greenhouse will grow 10% of the UK’s cucumbers, reducing imports and so reducing the food sector’s carbon emissions. Citigen Decarbonisation ProjectE.ON / RambollThe Citigen retrofit project aims to decarbonise the City of London district energy scheme via 4MW combined heating and 2.8MW cooling heat pumps. The heat pumps recycle low grade heat from 3 sources: Citigen processes waste heat, the cooling network and 200m deep ground boreholes; before upgrading it to 80oC and feeding the district heating network with low carbon heat. Harris Academy BatterseaSSE Energy SolutionsInefficient boilers were replaced with hydrogen ready condensing boilers combined with an  air source heat pump to cover base load requirements. The project included the installation of a 120kWp solar PV array coupled with a 100kW/186kWh battery .  Managed by a smart buildings remote monitored platform, which will save 114 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum (26% reduction). Swansea Bay University Health Board RE:FIT ProjectsVital EnergiSwansea Bay University Health Board (SHUHB) multi-phase RE:FIT project which has pioneered an innovative blend of renewable energy generation and energy conservation measures including the creation of the UK’s first solar farm dedicated to supplying an NHS hospital. The primary focus of the project was to deliver substantial and rapid decarbonisation to help the health board meet their net zero commitments. Northwick Park HospitalVital EnergiVital Energi are guaranteeing savings of £1.9m a year for London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust and are reducing carbon emissions by 2,581 tonnes a year at Northwick Park Hospital.
