Gareth has 15 years of experience in the low-carbon energy sector, having established start-up ventures across different areas of the energy sector. Since founding FairHeat, Gareth has taken an active role in driving change within the heat network industry. Karl DrageThe Kensa GroupKarl Drage is the Director of Business Development at the Kensa Group. Professionally and personally, Karl lives and breathes engineering solutions to climate change and fuel poverty through the decarbonisation of heat. With a unique and focused perspective, proficiency, and passion for decarbonising heat through heat pumps, Karl bridges detailed engineering experience between the worlds of installation and policy. Karl is a true champion and leader of the heat pump industry. He identifies, ideates and evolves technically complex concepts into new modes of application, whilst empowering and engaging stakeholders and policy makers to build and secure future solutions. Lars FabriciusSAV SystemsLars has been working and pioneering in the HVAC industry for 30 years. Well known for his abstract and creative thinking, Lars has managed to steer SAV Systems from a wholesale supplier of brass components to the leading solution and product specialist within the Heat Network industry. Rasmus TrabergRoyal Danish EmbassyRasmus is a Senior Advisor on the Trade Council at the Royal Danish Embassy in London. For well over a decade, Rasmus has promoted the opportunities for heat networks and energy efficiency by forging partnerships and paving the way for international cooperation. He has helped bring Danish solutions and expertise in decentralised energy to the UK, enabling development and growth. Soulla PaphitisDanfossSoulla is a key driver behind Danfoss software solutions in the UK, delivering lower carbon heat networks and retrofit solutions, with minimal disruption for consumers of heat. Soulla is passionate about supporting young engineers and women in engineering. As an ambassador for the ADE and Danfoss, Soulla represented and worked to promote heat networks at COP26 in Glasgow as a solution for countries to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Toby HeyshamPinnacle PowerAs an influential leader in the District Heating sector Toby continually encourages the sector to do better, by thinking outside the box, challenging the industry norms, and inspiring conversations to improve the industry to become more sustainable. Toby has extensive experience in delivering heat based district energy and has worked on projects from 100kW to 87 MW of heat generating plant. He focuses on working with councils and developers to deliver the most innovative solution possible both financially and practically. Victoria KeenWatkins EnergyWith a strong customer and quality focus, supported by 9 years extensive experience successfully managing heat networks - both as a client and heat supplier, in 2019 Victoria was offered the opportunity to spearhead a fresh new energy company – Watkins Energy, which is going from strength to strength. Passionate, committed and with an infectious enthusiasm, Victoria is committed to putting the customer first. Leading by example, over the years Victoria has played an important role in inspiring other strong female leaders in the sector. The Decentralised Energy AwardsThe Association for Decentralised Energy's annual awards are the leading and most prestigious awards for those involved in decentralised energy, recognising and celebrating the people and projects which have developed innovative decentralised energy solutions designed around the needs of the user. The awards showcase innovation, best practice and achievements across heat, efficiency, power and flexibility. The winners will be announced at the ADE’s annual gala dinner, hosted at the stunning Hurlingham Club in central London on Wednesday 15th June.
