Charlotte Nicols appointed Vice-President of the ADE

Charlotte Nichols is a vocal advocate for the decarbonisation of the UK’s energy system and in her role as a member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, has played a key role in exploring the range of technologies that will play a vital role in the UK’s net zero future.Charlotte is also a Vice-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Hydrogen, a Co-Chair of the Group on Nuclear, and has an interest in the effects of our energy transition on the UK’s workforce. Charlotte is a champion of green skills and of an equitable Green Industrial Revolution – noting in her maiden speech in the House of Commons, that she would be  ‘working to deliver a green industrial revolution that puts power, in its most literal sense, into the hands of our community.’Ian Calvert, CEO at the Association for Decentralised Energy said:"We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to our board of Vice-Presidents.
