ADE joins forces with organisations in a letter to the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero
Today, the ADE wrote to Claire Coutinho MP and the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), calling for more action towards supporting homeowners transition to decarbonised heating.
With Citizens Advice, Centre for Sustainable Energy, E3G, Energy Saving Trust, Green Alliance, Heat Pump Federation and Regen, the organisations have come together to call for:
Implementation of an advice strategy for England and Wales to coordinate the provision of tailored advice, available funding, and private finance options.
Development of clear consumer communications to raise awareness in England and Wales of home retrofit choices and available support.
Review of the consumer protections in this sector to provide adequate protections for all consumers, including those getting work done outside of government schemes.
