The recent launches of the party manifestos have shown that whilst we're moving in the right direction toward a decentralised energy system, it has not yet been prioritised. 

As the countdown to polling day continues, one thing we know for certain is that whichever part comes into power will face crucial decisions that will determine the future of the decentralised energy sector. 

The question for the next Government is: do they want to take the reins and lead this transition, or get in the way.
