Centrax Gas Turbines

The generator sets are used mainly for combined heat and power but also in base load, simple cycle and standby applications. 

Centrax manufacture gas turbine powered generator sets from 4MWe to 15 MW. Any scope of supply is undertaken from supply and commissioning for generator sets through to full EPC contracts for complete energy plant. Centrax packages are powered by Siemens 501, SGT 300 and 400 gas turbines for the industrial market.

Centrax packages operate primarily on natural gas and other fuels can be used as an alternative. Main applications are as an energy source for combined heat and power systems. Applications include paper mills, chemical installations, breweries, public utilities, ceramics, oil and gas etc. Base Load and Stand-by packages manufactured by Centrax are also in wide use throughout the world.

The generator sets operate throughout the year in all types of conditions in a continuous state of high performance. Recently Centrax was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
